Got a QA tip you swear by? A test case you’re secretly proud of? A workflow your entire organization now follows? ![]()
Now’s your moment. The end-of-year posting contest is officially open, and we want to hear what you know.
Share it as a topic and the whole community learns from it. The best one gets a real stage: the Best Topic will be featured on PractiTest’s LinkedIn and newsletter (with your permission, of course). And if you’re the one lifting everyone else’s conversations with likes and replies, you could be our Top Contributor. ![]()
Your activity since October 1 already counts, and the contest runs through December 31.
Oh, and there’s a little something extra: a $250 gift card for each award. ![]()
Start a topic, reply, like, repeat. We can’t wait to read what you share!
Good luck! ![]()
Official Rules
1. Contest period
The contest runs from October 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM GMT. All eligible topics and activity since October 1 count, including activity from before the contest was announced.
2. Who can enter
Everyone with a PractiTest Discussion Forum account can enter, except PractiTest employees, who are not eligible to enter or win. Entering is free.
3. How to enter
There is nothing to sign up for. You enter automatically by starting topics in the PractiTest Discussion Forum and by replying to and liking other members’ topics.
Good topics include a testing tip, a challenge you overcame, a lesson learned, or how your team uses PractiTest.
4. Awards and scoring
There are two awards. Best Topic goes to the topic with the highest score. Top Contributor goes to the member who is most active in liking and replying to other members’ topics during the contest period.
Points: view = 1 point, like = 2 points, reply = 5 points.
For Best Topic, a topic’s score is the total points from the views, likes, and replies it receives during the contest period. For Top Contributor, a member earns 2 points for each like and 5 points for each reply they give on another member’s topic. Likes and replies on your own topics do not count.
If two entries tie, the tie is broken as follows. For Best Topic, the topic with more replies wins, then the topic with more likes, then the earlier topic. For Top Contributor, the member who wrote more replies wins, then the member who reached the tied score first.
5. Winners
Winners are determined by the scores above after the contest closes on December 31, 2026, and are announced in January 2027.
6. Prizes
The winner of each award receives a $250 Amazon gift card, or an equivalent gift card where Amazon is not available. That is two prizes in total. One member can win only one award. If the same member would win both, they receive the Best Topic prize, and the Top Contributor prize goes to the next-highest scorer.
The Best Topic may also be featured on PractiTest’s LinkedIn and in the PractiTest newsletter. PractiTest will ask the author for permission first.
You do not need to do anything to claim your prize. PractiTest will actively contact each winner, using the email address on their forum account, to arrange delivery of the gift card.
7. Posting guidelines
Topics and replies must follow the PractiTest Discussion Forum’s community guidelines and be relevant to testing, quality, or PractiTest. Please do not share confidential information about your company or your customers, and do not post spam, offensive content, or content you do not have the right to share.
Inviting colleagues and peers to join the forum is welcome, and accounts registered with a valid company email address are accepted. Do not artificially inflate views, likes, or replies, for example by using multiple accounts, fake or temporary email addresses, or coordinated activity meant only to boost a score. PractiTest may flag and remove any activity or account it considers fraudulent or dishonest, exclude it from scoring, and disqualify the entry.
8. General terms
PractiTest may remove topics, replies, likes, or accounts that break these rules, and its decisions on scoring, eligibility, and winners are final. PractiTest may update these rules or end the contest early if needed, and will announce any change in the PractiTest Discussion Forum. Winners are responsible for any taxes that apply to their prize.
