want to create new Project/clone from existing project using Java …any API for this ?

We do not support the creation of Project - whether from default or cloning - via the POST request.
The creation of Projects in PractiTest is being done by Account Owner according to a certain methodological/administrative need.
If you could elaborate on a methodological reason of the use case, which requires to have creation of Project as part of automated process flow - you’re welcome to share it here and we can think of any alternative possible solution.
