Read only requirement page is missing req name

If you go to a requirement URL sans “/edit” you see a nice read-only view of the req.

https://prod.practitest.com/p/xxxxx/requirements/xxxxx

The only problem is that the requirement name/title is missing.

Is there a way to fix this? What’s the best way to file a bug with PractiTest?

Hello. How was the Requirement created? The reason I ask is, Requirements can’t be created without a name. Is the name of the affected requirement displayed in the ‘Name’ column in Requirements grid? Are you the author of the Requirement you are trying to edit? If you are, you should be able to click the pencil icon next to the Requirement Name field and make the changes.

When you ask what’s the best way to file a bug, are you wanting to know the best way to create bugs or link them to other entities? Issues (Bugs) can be created in the ‘Issues’ module, or directly from a test run by clicking the ‘Fail & Issue’ button. Issues can be linked to Requirements, Tests, or other Issues in the ‘Traceability’ tab of the entity you are wanting to link the Issue (Bug) to.

Here is what the requirement looks like using /edit url (top image) and without /edit url (bottom image).

I would like to file a bug against the PractiTest product itself. It seems as if they have left out the name/title from the read only page. Seems like a bug.

Hi Jon. Thank you for your reply. Let me see what I can find out. I will let you know something shortly.

Hi Jon. The read-only screen should look similar to the screen where you can edit the Requirement details. Which browser are you using? Have you tried to reproduce this issue in any other browser? Have you tried clearing the browser history to see if that help?

I’m using the only browser there is these days: Chrome.

I’m not following how browser history has anything to do with this issue.

Does anyone know how to open a bug against the product?
