Here are the PractiTest product updates for May 2026:

New MCP Capabilities for Working with Existing Testing Data
Our MCP capabilities just got upgraded with new tools that allow AI to work directly with existing PractiTest data and entities.

  • Update existing tests – Modify test names, descriptions, steps, and additional fields directly through MCP

  • Retrieve entity data – Access detailed information for Requirements, Test Sets, Issues, and other entities, including descriptions and linked fields

Cleaner and Easier Jira Field Mapping Configuration
Jira field mapping page in the integration settings is now providing a cleaner and more intuitive configuration experience. The updated UI makes it easier to configure and manage mapped fields between Jira and PractiTest.
