JIRA Cloud integration update!

Hello PractiTest users,

We are glad to inform you that we implemented a few improvements for the JIRA Cloud integration that include:

  1. The modal box that appears after pressing Fail & Issue within a test run. Thus the issue description can include all the steps’ information without any limitation.

  2. The ability to report issues of type sub-task into JIRA from PractiTest.

  3. The ‘pt_id’ field is not needed anymore and can be removed.

  4. In the meantime the ‘PractiTest Integration Addon User’ is set as a reporter of new issues created from PractiTest into JIRA, but the next version will include the ability to configure the reporter in advance.

As for the JIRA Server integration, improvements are on the way and will be released soon!

There is an issue with JIRA required custom and system fields and our dev. team is working on fixing it, if you experience the issue please let us know and we will assist you.
