i created test results with numbering

When was running the test in test sets the numbering displayed as
1.
2 - 4.
1.
2.
So i went into update step mode to make changes but that shows the display correctly. Once i cancel out or save and exit and view in TestRun section the misnumbering reappears. So it appears to be saving it correctly but displaying incorrectly and i cannot change it. i realize i could just do individual step numbers but if multiple parts have the same result i would prefer not to write that each time.
