Add Separate Permission for Editing List Values Only - Custom field

:glowing_star: Feature Request: Separate Permission for Editing List Values Only

Hi everyone,

Currently, PractiTest has one single Customization permission that includes all of the following actions:

  • Creating new custom fields

  • Modifying existing custom fields

  • Adding or editing values in List, Multi‑List, and Linked List fields

Because these are all bundled together, we can’t allow certain users to manage list values without also giving them full access to create or change custom fields — which is more permission than many teams want to grant.

:bullseye: Requested Enhancement

Please add a new sub‑permission:

“Edit List Values Only”

This would let users update list, multilist, and linked‑list values without allowing them to create or modify custom fields.

:+1: Why This Helps

  • Safer, more precise permission control

  • Reduces risk of accidental field changes

  • Allows teams to delegate list maintenance without giving full admin rights

If this improvement would benefit your team, please add your vote so PractiTest can prioritize it.
